Longtime particpants in DIFFA’s Dining by Design event, Rockwell Group and its founder and president David Rockwell worked with DIFFA to choreograph a new iteration of the event that encouraged more interaction and engagement with the spaces and the organization’s history than in previous years. The redesigned event celebrated not only DIFFA’s four decades of work and the more than $50 million the organization has raised and granted but also placed focus on its expanded mission to include homelessness, hunger, and mental health–conditions that were amplified due to COVID-19. Rockwell shares his deep connection and commitment to DIFFA as well as the concepts behind the two installations his team created for the event, both of which invited guests to look at the world in a slightly different manner.
