When creating her window design for Modern Rugs Los Angeles, Huma Sulaiman was inspired by “the minimalistic vibe and vast beauty of the desert.” Tying together pre-Columbian pottery, natural cactus plants, a “simple but majestic” artwork by Bradley Duncan, and a rug the color of the desert sand from Modern Rugs Los Angeles, the inspiration the designer says California provides her daily shines through.
