This summer, the design world descended on the A&D Building in New York for its first ever Market Day, a two-day event created to present a new concept in design dialogue to the creative community. With a roster of editors from top design publications, as well as keynote speakers like Maria Porro of Salone del Mobile, who traveled from Italy to be a part of the event, the A&D building and its showrooms hosted a series of panels, parties, and intimate conversations with interior designers, architects, photographers, and more. The topics ranged from top trends from Milan Design Week and Salone to design for entertaining and for a changing and more sustainable world, with many more intriguing sessions in between. The halls bustled with excitement as designers eagerly welcomed the return to in-person events and showroom experiences, setting an enthusiastic stage for Market Days to come.
