As a 5th generation Californian, Nathan Turner took his window design for Mecox to a personal level, drawing inspiration from his great-grandmother’s “very pretty, Anglo-American, feminine bedroom” at his family’s “rough and tumble, California cattle ranch.” The designer paired fabrics and wallpapers from Wallshoppe with a “ranch chic” bed from Mecox and personal items and photographs for a view of a part of the state he feels people don’t always picture when they think of California design.
