Tom Polucci, senior principal director of interiors for HOK, describes the DIFFA BY DESIGN booth his firm created in collaboration with Shaw Contract as a layered dreamscape environment, a verdant and playful space that guests could sink into and relax and enjoy. A DIFFA board member, Polucci stresses the special nature of this event as it brings the design community together to raise funds and awareness for those living with HIV and AIDS and also because it celebrates all DIFFA has done over the decades in New York City and around the country.
