Moderated by Laurel Christensen, director of outreach & engagement for the nonprofit advocacy group mindfulMATERIALS, panelists Jane Abernethy, chief sustainability officer of Humanscale; Jonathan Durling, founder & CEO of Sossego Design; Samantha McCormack, creative director & director of sustainability and wellness at TPG Architecture; and Rebecca Best, VP of sustainability and market engagement for Material Bank; shared the experiences and achievements of their own businesses as they strive to design a better future and discussed the cultural changes that need to take place in order to create a truly circular economy.
