Quality and customization are keys to success at Carlisle Wide Plank Floors, the New Hampshire-based company that sources its product in the U.S. From their showroom at the A&D Building in NYC, Kendall McMillan explains that since the company makes its own floors, they are able to customize all they do, and the options for experimentation extend to the customer as well. While clients will first be introduced to the array of solid and engineered species and color options the company offers, McMillan and the Carlisle team have also worked with customers to create something new, sometimes using items like fabric swatches as inspiration. The company encourages its clients to think of the floor as the canvas for their homes, and works to be certain they find the floor that will work for them for years to come.
