In creating his window for Atacama Home, Raul de la Cerda was influenced by the use and impression of color as well as by those quintessential California elements of the sun, the beach, and beautiful sunsets. Informed by his Mexican roots and lifelong affection and interaction with California, the designer employed different colors to represent different Latin American countries and used the interplay of color and shape to illustrate how different elements can work together to form something new and beautiful.
