To honor all of the out-of-the-box designers and creativity she believes epitomize California design, Kristi Nelson’s window design for Cache represented a conceptual cardboard box that had been torn open to reveal furnishings from Cache’s own collection, custom decorative painting by Sorelle Fine Arts, a 3-D embroidered art piece by Atelier Devi, and a few personal items as well. The inventive way of designing that inspired her is the same thing Nelson says makes California design such a special experience.
